John Wreford is a freelance photographer currently based in the Syrian capital Damascus.
Specialising in social documentary, travel and editorial photography from around the Middle East, Arab and Muslim world, from Islamic architecture to Kurdish human rights his work has appeared in publications around the globe.
Frequently travelling from fast developing cities such as Beirut and Istanbul to the harsh desert of the Bedouin, from Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon to the Pyramids of Egypt his work reflecting the diversity of the regions culture, religion and landscape.
